Our story

Poke & Prep emerged from a profound appreciation for Hawaiian heritage and a commitment to providing nutritious, high-quality meals for all. The essence of ‘ohana (family) and aloha (love and kindness) shaped my upbringing, and I wanted to build a business that reflected these values. Recognizing a need in our community for food that was both wholesome and steeped in tradition—especially the versatile and cherished poke—I also saw many families and individuals, including homeless teens, struggling to access nourishing meals. This venture enables us to share the tastes and culture of Hawai’i while giving back through weekly meal donations and community initiatives. It's more than just food—it's a mission.
